Starting off Friday right with early morning workout and a coffee pit stop at Sheetz. Thankfully, I have a few free coupons burning a hole in my pocket. This work week has flown by so lets get this Friday started with five things I have been loving this week!!
{One} Reading. Social media has been in a uproar due to Food Babe’s recent blog post on the beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte. She shared her discovery that there were potentially harmful chemicals in the PSL, loads of sugar and no pumpkin. I did not find all that shocking about missing pumpkin because the drink is made to resemble a pumpkin pie which tastes completely different than plain pumpkin. As we know, there are always two sides to every story. So why not entertain both and make an informed choice for yourself! Of course, you could make your own at home with my favorite recipe
by Eating Bird Food.
{Two} Munching On. Last time I went grocery shopping my sweet tooth got the best of me and I ended up taking home Magnum’s ice cream bars. I am a sucker for dark chocolate and the addition of coffee beans in the dark chocolate shell was right up my alley. When it comes to sweet treats I need portion control or I will put away half a tub of ice cream before realizing it. So I always go for the individually a packaged ice cream bars. These may not be the healthiest treat on the market but the Belgian dark chocolate certainly hits the spot if your craving something indulgent. (I received a coupon from Influenster for these bars. All opinions are my own)
{Three} Wishlist Worthy. Tuckernuck is one of my favorite
websites to visit when I am in the mood to daydream about my budget less
wardrobe. They feature a mix of high end pieces with a few affordable pieces.
Unfortunately I am always drawn to the high end pieces that would not get much
use in my wardrobe. This sweater is one of those pieces. I could not see me
wearing it working with students but I am still in love with it nonetheless.
{Four} Currently Loving. I exploring the quote section on Pinterest when I in need of a little inspiration. I am always on the lookout printables for around our apartment or in my office.
{Five} Coming Up. The weekends have been cycling from
extremely busy to low key just about every other weekend. It looks like this
pattern is here to stay for a while and I am loving it. This weekend should be
more low key- just a long run and brunch on Saturday in the books.
I'm not a PSL fan [shocker! I know], but I saw that article. I find it interesting that people only thing the PSL is a fake...I'm sure Starbucks fudges on many of their drinks. But like you said, if you like it, drink and don't judge.
