One. Bedroom Inspiration. We have a huge master bedroom with a set of large bay windows. It is great to have a bit of natural light in the room. However, I would like for it to be completely dark at night when we head to bed. I love the idea of doing multiple window treatments to add a bit of character to the room.
Two. Currently Craving. I am ready for fall weather and apple cider. When it comes to mocktails, I am at a loss when we go out to a restaurant as I have no idea how to order a non alcoholic cocktail besides a Shirley temple. I decided to remedy that by making my own at home! Looking forward to recreating this Apple Cider Punch once the temps in NC drop below 80.
Three. Slow Cooker Love. This time of year is perfect for using a slow cooker. I love coming home to a delicious smelling house after work knowing that I don't have to worry about spending a hour in the kitchen. I love the idea of making pulled chicken in the crock-pot but the thought of plain chicken makes me nauseous (Thanks hormones!). This recipe seems budget friendly and delicious which is perfect for a week night meal.
My Crockpot is one of my favorite items this time of year (well all year really)!

I love fall so much especially all the crockpot recipes, chilli and soups are my favourite fall recipes I love not having to worry about dinner most nights when I come in and not to mention they taste delicious!
ReplyDeleteI love bay windows but they're tricky for window treatments! Worth it for how pretty they are, though. And I feel you on the Shirley Temple thing - I get the strangest looks when I order it out. So please post that cider mocktail recipe!
ReplyDeleteThose stuffed baked potatoes look awesome! Loving those bedroom inspiration pins. The colors are pretty! We're thinking of doing a lighter blue in our bedroom too.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
Happy Friday!! I hear you on the master bedroom - love the light but not when I'm trying to sleep! You picked great pins though! Good luck with it!
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering lately if they make Hot Apple Cider for the Keurig machines?? I was craving one the other day. I bet they do. But I should probably try that Apple Cider Punch in the meantime while its still 90 degrees here too!! - HomeofMalones
ReplyDeleteUsing my slow cooker for the first time this season today!! Yay!
