Five on Friday

Oh Happy Friday! Hope everyone has enjoyed this short week. As always I am so excited it is Friday!

The temperature has dropped dramatically this week in NC many places even saw a dusting of snow! The cold weather has made it more difficult for me to get up in the morning. Also, defrosting the cars is not something I enjoy and miss our warm garage more than ever right now! Anyway, one thing that I have been enjoying with the cooler weather is the chance to break out the sweaters and scarves! For today's five on Friday I wanted to share my favorite pieces.

This season more than ever, I have been loving neutral sweaters, scarves and boots. I promise I don't wear them all at once but I am loving the neutral backdrop for statement jewelry and accessories.  I am also trying to invest in neutral, classic pieces that will last more than one season.

Cozy Neutrals

What is your go to cold weather outfit? Mine is a chunky sweater, skinny jeans and riding boots.

  1. It has gotten a but chillier here in VA too! I was quite happy to break out the scarves and cute sweaters.

  2. ^^ I'm in VA with Ashley and agree on scarves/sweaters! I love beige cable-knits with leggins and infinity scarves this season! Great post thanks for sharing!

  3. I've been loving more neutrals this fall as well. Im currently loving wearing leggings with a long wrap sweater and boots. So comfy and cozy!

  4. I live in neutrals and love wearing leggings with big sweaters. I'm loving that white scarf! Looks so cozy!

  5. It is way too cold in the Carolinas right now!! Perfect riding boots and sweater weather though :)

  6. I have been living in cardigans, with leggings and a scarf this week. Comfy and cozy!!

  7. No such thing as a short week for anyone that doesn't work in the banking or teaching fields ;)

    1. I should add, that means I'm totally jealous lol

  8. Love all your neutrals! I'm so excited to buy some winter white pieces now that I'm not pregnant!
