Caroline | One Month

First off, I can hardly believe that this little one is getting ready to turn three months old! Now that I am (almost) adjusted to our new normal I thought it was time to catch up on the past two months! 

Nicknames: Little Bit, Baby Bird

Weight: 7lbs, 7oz  

Height: 19 inches long

Looks: You have your father’s bright blue eyes. They are the sweetest shade of blue. Your hair is a deep dark brown hair and is quite full. 

Personality: You are such a happy baby. You only complain if you are hungry or tired. (Like most of us.) Our daily walks are a favorite for us both and you love being on the go.  You absolutely adore your dad and save your biggest smiles for him. 

Eating: We both really struggled with feeding for the first two weeks. We had a very upset baby and once we figured out why you were hungry everything got easier. For some reason, you do not getting enough milk breastfeeding. So, I switched to pumping and you get 3oz of breastmilk every 3 hours. 

Sleeping: You sleep for 3 hour stretches at night right beside mom and dad in your rock n sleep.

Wearing: Wearing newborn clothes and diapers. By the end of the month ,you had grown out of newborn diapers up to size one. 

Favorite Things: Going on car rides or long walks, tummy time, getting baths and baby wearing.

Least Favorite Things: Falling asleep, getting out of your bath and being startled awake. 

Within your first month:

We celebrated your arrival with a Sip-n-See with mom’s friends. 

               You celebrated your first Valentines day. You will always be our little Valentines day baby. 

               You went on your first mini shopping trips with mom and grandma to Target, Sams and Costco.
