All American Dress

With the 4th of July right around the corner, I am feeling very patriotic. I jump at any chance to purchase a new dress or outfit and build my wardrobe. Sometimes my wallet does not always agree with me though! While pursing the dresses at Target recently I stumbled across this gorgeous seersucker dress. I knew it would be perfect for the 4th and knew I had seen it somewhere before. Then I realized it was very similar to a Lilly Dress I fell in love with last year.

I adore both dresses but can't compete with the price of the Target dress. This is the perfect dress for spring and summer. The empire waist gives a slimming effect and the ruffles are a nice touch, not over done. I love Seersucker print I believe it really transcends trends. It is perfect for summer cookouts or of course watching the fireworks on the 4th!
